all comes to its end.
everything, everyone ends in ash.
ashes to ashes, and all of that.
no escaping reality.
reality will have its way.
in the silence of all things gone,
reality stands watch.
stands guard over our fine ash.
a lonely everlasting vigil, that.
beyond love comes understanding;
reasoning. knowledge of events
controlled and not so.
storms and calm.
and the courage to face
forward and grow strong.
caution and paranoia
share similar interests.
travel similar roads.
date similar women;
and there the similarities end.
should caution and paranoia
happen to meet in person,
one would die.
a fierce will to survive
drives the human spirit
lifting us up and forward
