DOWN

have been hung upside down,

right side up, 

left swinging in the wind,

and left for dead.

but through it all,

have not lost my sanity.

although my sense of

humor, flagging seriously.

to complicate things further:

am growing warts on my attitude.

blowing bubbles as

entertainment

or just losing one's mind.

either way, not a crime.

other than possible

misdemeanor.

leave for you to decide.

am not one to spank a hen

and not expect some irate

bunch of roosters to pay me

a visit and spank the holy

crap out of me; ensuring 

never again will I ever

spank another hen.

natural progression is
to learn from one's mistakes.
not to do so, leads one down
a twisting, rocky path,
unable to comprehend
simple facts of life.
